The appointment was held over for a month. The Nelson Rotary Club held its final weekly luncheon of the year today. The president (Mr. J. P. S. Janiieson) > was in the chair, and among the visitors were several members' of the Nelson Diocesan Synod. Mr. R.. Watson, the principal speaker, gave an interesting account of his recent trip to England and the Continent. Two prominent foundation-members of the club, the Bishop of Nelson (Dr. W. C. Sadlier) and Professor T. H. Easterfield, become ineligible as members when their pending resignations come into effect because their respective ' classifications can no longer be filled by them under the rules of Rotary. However, in view of their valuable services to the club, the directors recommended their election as honorary members, and this was carried unanimously.
