COLLEGE ATHLETICS
During the last few days the Eongotai College inter-form athletic competition for the Avery Cup has been in progress, and it has been marked not only by excellent individual results bulfc also by a splendid exhibition of school spirit. The competition was run along novel lines, involving the participation of every boy in. at least one event and of no boy in more than three events, no handicapping, tlie placing of all competitors, and the awarding of points on a graduated scale to all contestants, with provision for the differences in numbers iin forms. There were seven events—loo yards, 220 4 yards, 330 yards, 440 yards, and 880 yards, high jump, and long jump —and the competion ivas run off in sections of the scfiool—first forms, seconds, thirds, fourths, fifths, and sixth. I Form 1110 was the winner of the cup. Results are as follows:—Form lIIc, 71.60 points; Va, 69.33; lt,\ 69.08; lib, 68.21; IVa, 66.95; VR, 65.79; Sh. 111, 63.93; Ib, 59.33; Vb, 59.27; Ilia, 56.00;.
