An anticyclone a (iu extends from northern Xcw Zealand far to the eastwards, but a slight westerly depression has heen crossing the Soutli Island. The latter has caused some light rain only in the Foreaux Strait area and northerly winds to freshen, but otherwise fine and warm weather has continued eenerally. TODAY'S WEATHER.
