A "DEADLY UNIFORMITY"
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIX, This Day. Allying himself with Professor Condliffe, Archdeacon Whitehead, Warden of Sehvyn College, speaking at the school breakup, said that grievous defects of the New Zealand State school's were their deadly uniformity, rigidity, and bureaucratic influence. He urged the abolition of inspetcors and training colleges, which, he said, were a • menace to the system.
