KOBE, December 13. A fire occurred at noon in the engineering laboratory of tho Kyoto Imperial JJniversity, and within an hour destroyed the whole building. The military garrison, assisted the fire-lighters in a desperate endeavour to prevent a spread.of tho flames. The damage is estimated at 700,000 yen. ■ .
