DOCTORS OF TOMORROW
/ (British Offlclal Wireless.) EUGBY, December 12. The King, accompanied by tl;e Queen, today opened the new medical school at St! Mary's Hospital, Pad--1 dington. The building, which cost . £250,000 will rank as one of the first schools of medical research in Britain. His Majesty, in a speech, said that ho felt special interest in revisiting 1 St. Mary's since many years ago the ■ skill and care of a nurse from that > hospital contributed largely to his re--1 covery from an attack of typhoid fever. 1 The King referred to tireless efforts 1 of the devoted research workers who ! were forever wresting fresh secrets 1 from nature and adding to existing ; knowledge in many different fields. Dis--1 semination of this knowledge was no 1 less important, for tho people's health depended in a great measure on the 1 training which medical* schools were able to provide for the doctors of tomorrow.
