BENEFIT CONCERT

FOR PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

One of the most enjoyable concerts held this season in Seatonn took place on Tuesday evening, when Miss Dorothy Seymour and her pupils assisted by Mr. Sain Duncan (tenor) and Miss B. Godier (soprano) presented a revue programme of a very excellent character. Especially pleasing features were costume sets, in which Jean C'erchi. and a troupe of toy soldiers, and Sylvia Devine with Spanish Troubadours and a Castilian dance by Kwyn Jenkins appeared. Au ensemble playlet "The Rose of Joy" and clever and entertaining impersonations by Miss Seym'oiir were ' very' popular, and the programme concluded with au "Old AVorld Studio Scene," the dressing being very effective.-, /The period acting by "Jean Cei-cln, Ngaire Miller, Bqtty Capper, and Phyllis Powell, made'an effective finale.
