TO JOIN AIR FORCE
Three New Zealanders are leaving for England on the Kotorua tomorrow to take up positions in the. Royal Air Force. . . . : Mr. John Darling Maling, a pupil of Christ's College, is going to take up a cadctship at the R.A.F. College, Cranwell, with the intention of gaining a permanent commission. The other two' youths are Messrs. Innes A. Shaw and Melville H. S. InnesJones, both of Hamilton, who "are leaving to take up aircraft apprenticeships in the Air Force, under the scheme whereby up to six apprenticeships may be granted half-yearly to New Zealanders. On arrival in. England, Messrs. Shaw and Innes-Jones will go to the Halton training establishment.
