GUILTY OF NEGLIGENCE
Arising from a motor accident on -the Pahautanui-Porirua Road in which a Government car capsized, • hia Majesty the King claimed from Victor Young in the Magistrate's Court the sum of £28 11s 7d. Judgment for the plaintiff for this amount •was given by Mr. E. Page, S.M., in a reserved decision delivered today, the Magistrate holding that the defendant had been guilty of negligence in failing to keep his lorry on the proper side of a relatively narrow road on a dangerous bend. Mr. C. H. Taylor appeared for the plaintiff and Mr. E. Parry for the defendant.
