At the annual meeting of the Carterton Amateur Swimming Club the following officers were elected: —Patron, Mr. J. A. B. Lawrence; president, Mr. T. H. Hughes; vice-presidents, Messrs. W. Howard Booth. M. King, F. Tyler, W. J. Earl, J. Udy, W. Sorensen, and Il'. 11. Taplin; club captain, Mr. L. J. Fairbrother; secretary and treasurer, Mr. J. Duane; auditor, Mr.' N. R. Armstrong; general committee, Messrs. L. Sorensen, D. Irwin, J. Steit'ert, A. S. Roydhouse, Misses 6. Striuger and Z. Workman; handicappers, Messrs. Taplin and Fairbrother.
It was reported that the baths would be ready in about a week.
