QUESTIONS DISCUSSED

WASHINGTON, November 8.
At the conclusion of the meeting on Wednesday between the Secretary of State, Mr. Cordell Hull, and M. Litvinoff, Soviet Oomniissar of Foreign Affairs, a joint, statement said; "There was a friendly private preliminary discussion on some of the outstanding questions involved in the matter of relations between the United States and Soviet Eepublics. Detailed proposals were not discussed and the conversations will be resumed later." '
