EGG EXPORT TRADE.
A total of 30,030 dozen eggs, forming the last shipment for the season of the Auckland Egg Export Committee, has been dispatched by the Tamaroa for London. If, is expected that the shipment will reach the market about December 15 in time for the Christmas demand. The shipment, which was made up of 1001 crates, each containing 30 dozen eggs,, was by far the largest of a successful season. v "The season has been marked by great progress," said Mr, A. C. Norden, chairman of the Egg Export Committee. "We hope to extend our activities next year by making a more rigid grading system in retail sales. At present eags are carefully graded for wholesale selling, but many retailers mix the grades. Rigid grading is the only way to protect retailers and public alike."
