TRAGIC ANNIVERSARY
United Press Association—By Electrio Tele-graph—-CopyrisM. ■ /(Received November; 9, 2 "p.m.) ; LONDON, November 8. It was a tragic .coincidence that today was the anniversary of Archer's suicide. Fifteen thousand witnessed Richards's easy victory in drizzling rain, and rushed from the stands_ to form a long avenue along-which Richards rode, wildly cheered. Richards said: "Now I have done it you do riot know what a weight is off my mind." Archer's mounts in his record season were 667, and Richards's 904. Richards, does not attempt a comparison, saying that the conditions are altogether different. . . .-. . :. ■■.:■■.■ •■•'■
