PATIENTS VISITED
MUSICAL PROGRAMME
Much pleasure is given to the pati* ents in hospitals by the visits from time to tinie of concert parties. Last evening women patients in the Victoria Ward at Wellington Hospital enjoyed a programme given by members of the Commercial Travellers' Orchestra, who were accompanied by Mrs. Wilfred Andrews, Mrs. and Miss Woodward, and Mr. E. Glading. '.': Orchestral items were conducted by Mr. T. F. Woodward, songs sung byMrs. Andrews, Mrs. Woodward, and. Mr. Glading, and violin solos played by Mr. E. G. Tait. Miss Woodward was at the piano. At the conclusion, the entertainers chatted with the patients, who were very appreciative of the pleasure given them. A fortnight ago the men. patients were entertained by the sanie party, and shortly the soldiers at Hobson Street will be visited.
