■\Vildey Lodge.—Bro. W. S. Hammond, N\G., presided over a large gathering. Visitors included the "D.D.G.1., Bro. G. F. Rudkin, and district officers, and Bros. J. C. E. Turner, P.C.P., P. Lee, P.C.P., and Bro. R. J. Mathers, senior warden, of Port Nicholson Encampment All subordinate lodges in the district were represented. One member was reported sick, and relative sick P ay> with maternity arants and general accounts, were passed for payment. Invitations to socials were received from kindred lodges. One candidate was proposed for membership. At the completion of business a public installation of officers was held, Bro. Rudkin and his officers installing the following:— 1.P.G., W. S. Hammond; N.G., E. G. Mauley; V.G., P. O'Boyle; Rec. Sec, R. Barrowman; Treasurer, E. J. Oxenham; Warden, A. Goodall; conductor, .W. Brown; chaplain, G. Olsen; R.S.S., W. G. Lawton; L.S.S., W. Cainmish; R.S.N.G., A. J. Holding; L.S.N.G., B. Churchill; R.S.V.G., W. H. Kelly; L.S.N.G., W. R. Kelly; 1.G., J. Pagani; 0.G., R. Skipper. .The ceremony was ; carried but in full regalia, the odes being flayed by the organist. A large gathering attended to witness a very interesting ceremony, ably conducted. A social and dance followed, a large number taking part. ;' Kupe Lodge.—Bro. M. Stewart. N.G., presided over a fair attendance. Visitors included Bro. H. Miller (Southern Cross Lodge).. The usual, routine business was approved, two members beinji; granted permission to take degrees at District Lodge. The evening concluded with a card tournaOnslow Loclffe.—Bro. S. P. Curtis. P.G , presided. The D.D.G.M., Bro. G. F. Rudkin. and District officers installed the; following for the ensuing term:-—I.P.G.. A. R. Thomas; N.G., L. F. C. Cooper; V.G, O. W. A. Pedersnn; R.S., J. B. McCallum;'F.S., W. H. Higsins: Treasurer, A V. Thompson; Warden, H, A. Thomas; Chaplain, Thompson; R.S.N.G., S. P. Curtis ; 1.G., S. B. Curtis. Fraternal greetings were tendered by visiting bretlrren, the meetinsr thus concluding.
