The Hutt Valley High School athletic sports are being held next Thursdayafternoon, and should again be of a high standard. Already in ttie preliminary events held during the last few days the following records ha%ro been broken:—Long jump: Senior, girls, Phyllis Barton, 15ft 4§in; junior girls, Gjven Gostcllow, 14ft 7in;' senior .boys, Or. Phillips, 20ft 3in; intermediate boys, A. Phillips, 18ft lOin.
