INDIA'S TERMS TO JAPAN
DEADLOCK FOLLOWS REFUSAL
(Eeceived October 20, 11 a.m.) CALCUTTA, October 19. The Indian Government's terms to Japan include the annual purchase by Japan of a million and a half-bales of Indian cotton, and for every extra bale purchased the Japanese are allowed an additional 200 yards of piecegoods to their quota.
The trade delegates telegraphed tho terms to Japan, who replied advising non-acceptance.
Thus there is a deadlock again,
