TROTS AT AUCKLAND
GOOD ALL-ROUND FIELDS
(Special from "Early Bird.")
AUCKLAND, This Day.
The main interest in the two principal events at Alexandra Park tomorrow, on the opening day, of the Auckland Trotting Club's Spring Meeting, will be the third clash in a week of the southern pacer Meteor and Great Parrish. These two met at Claudelands last Saturday, Meteor beating Great Parrish jn the two. miles, and the local'horse turning the tables in the sprint. Great Parrish was very unlucky not to beat Meteor the. first time they clashed, ,so that he must be given a royal show in the Jellicoe and Electric Handicaps tomorrow. - '. . : Fields are excellent all round, and there should be some exciting trotting.
