LIVESTOCK EMBARGO
MODIFICATION URGED
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, October 19. At a meeting of the Otago Agricultural, and Pastoral Couunitteu today the following resolution was adopted:;— "That the embargo on the shipment of livestock from Britain tv New ■ Zealand bo modified, and that one shipment per annum be admitted after passing through the English quarantine station and. being quaruntinod for a suitable period in New 'Zealand under strict condition*."
