CROSS-COUNTRY, RUNNING
Road, beach, and hill work comprised the course for the Rongotai College senior and junior cross-country runs, held yesterday afternoon. There were 241 competitors, "and in each race there was an interesting finish. Points gained in the senior championship, which ivas won by Allan, counted for n handsome cup presented by the Scottish Harriers and Amateur Athletic Club, and, similarly, the junior championship carried points for the Junior .Lons-distauce Cup. The other events m connection with these cups are to be run on sports day, fo be held on the college grounds on Wednesday next.
