STRONG REPRESENTATIONS
(Beceived October 13, 10 a.m.) BERLIN, October 12. Tho United States Ambassador, Dr. W. E. Dodd, has received instructions from Washington to make energetic representations regarding the Brown Shirt molestation of Americans who fail to salute the Nazi flag. Ambassador will state that the United States is not satisfied. with' apologies, which are always.forthcoming, but will insist on ;tho assailants being punished and the nature of the punishment being comntunicatcd. to him. The British Embassy has protested in writing in regard "to'the; assault on the naturalised Englishman Koenig.
