HIGH EXCHANGE
THE REPEAL BILL
NO SPECIAL FACILITIES
In the House o$ Bepresentatives this afternoon Mr. AY. A. Veitch (Government, Wanganui) asked the Prime Minister if, in view of the importance of the question involved in the Banks Indemnity (Exchange) Bepeal Bill, he would either take the Bill up as a Government measure or give facilities to the House to reach a vote upon it.
Mr. Forbes said the Government" did not propose to take up the Bill. Mr. Veitch would have to take his chance with other honourable members who had private Bills of getting the measure before the House.
Mr. r. Langstone (Labour, Waimarino): He knows what that means all right.- ■ '
