Reports from -Wauganui state that Midinette is getting .through a satisfactory preparation at that centre tinder W. "Rayner's guidance.. The daughter of Limond and Motley is a brilliant galloper, especially on ltfthanded courses, and it would not surprise to see her winning good sprint races during the present' season. She figures in the Whenuakura Handicap> seven furlongs and a half, at the Egmont-Wanganui Hunt Meeting, to be held on August 19.
