BYLAWS AGAINST DOGS
STRICTER APPLICATION
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHEISTCHUBCH, August 4. An echo of the recent slaughter of about thirty sheep by two Alsatian dogs in Hagley Park was heard at a meeting of the Domains Board today. The board decided that in future the bylaws would be strictly enforced, and that all dogs found in the park, unless led on a leash, would be shot, and that no dogs, whether led or not, would be permitted in the Botanical Gardens. It was also decided to ask local bodies to tighten up the supervision of dog registration. ' .
