BRITISH SAILORS' SOCIETY.
An enjoyable concert., was. giv«n oa Thursday evening at the ■ rooms of ' th« British Sailors' Society; As usual, tba rooms were crowded, only standing1 ioom being available. The programme was arranged by Mr. C. Sander, whose pupils, assisted .by Mrs. Jennie Potts^ Mrs. L. Rosen thai, and Mr. Dorman, supplied soma very entertaining items. At the conclusion of the concert, a vote of thanks was passed with acclamation to Mr. Sanders and party. Supper was served by \th« young ladies of-the society, and the- evening clqsed with the singing of "God Siva - the King." - ....... '
