In honour of Misses Jessie and Kath-' leen Watson, Mrs. P. Hahdyside gaya a delightful tea party yesterday afternoon at her home at Lower Hutt. After spending eight years in England and on the Continent, the . Misses "Watson have now come to live in Wellington, and have taken a flat in Glasgow Street. Miss Jessie Watson spent a year in, Paris and Vienna, where she studied dress-cutting at the. houses of wellknown designers. Yesterday the drawing-room of Mrs. 'Handyside's, home was decorated with, bowls of pale pink camellias and mixed bowls of carnations, daphne, stylosis, and other spring flowers. On the tea* table was a flat bdwl of deep rosa camellias. ' '. ' Mrs. Handyside wore a long-sleeved' frock of sand-coloured crepe de china with pleated skirt. Miss Jessie Watson wasin a navy tailored cOstume and hat, and an oyster satin blouse, and Miss Kathleen Watson wore a navy tailored suit and hat with high-necked blouse of pale blue. . . • ■',:■■ The guests included Mrs. Eric Eiddi» ford, Mrs. C.
