DISAPPOINTMENT
DOMINION DELEGATES
RESTRICTION REQUESTS
LONDON, July 26,
■ The Secretary for tho Dominions (Mr. J. H. Thomas) is expected to refer to tho Government's consultations with the Dominions in an important debate on-Dominion affairs 'in the House of Commons today. Members arc , expected to emphasise that tho Dominions ought to do more to import British goods. The Dominions on their part are disappointed at the repeated requests to restrict production. The whole question of agricultural production is being'examined at a meeting this afternoon between the British Minister of Agriculture (Major Walter E. Elliot) and Dominion representatives, when the British Government will submit their proposals in regard to various products. Further reference will be made to meat, frozen pork, cheese, processed milk products, and butter. " Each country will be represented by one delegate; the Hon. E. Masters will represent New Zealand.
