Superior combination enabled a Wel« lington representative Association teara. to defeat a Wairarapd eleven by 7 goals to one in a match played, at the Park Oval on Saturday. The Wairarapa team gave a very good display against their more experienced opponents, and the game was far more even than tba final scores would indicate. Wellington led* 2-0 at half-time. The game was bright and open throughput .and tho large attendance of the public was treated to a .first-class display of. the code. T. James goaled for Wairarapa, while Cunningham, the visitor's centreforward, who played a splendid game. ■scored three goals for;..his, sidef,.;;
