A NARROW ESCAPE
While motoring to Palmerston North on Friday morning, Mr. C. J. S. Harcourt, of Wellington, had a serious skid when passing through Te Horo, and crashed into a power line pole, which snapped off near tho ground. The weight of the pole dragged tho wires down till they were nearly touching the car, Mr. Harcourt having a, narrow escape from electrocution. Mr. Harcourt was picked up by a following car and taken to Palmerston North.
