MAN FOR SENTENCE
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) s ' AUCKLAND, This Day. Arthur . Dryden Hosken, aged 45, ivas committed for sentence today oa a charge of bigamy. . The accused, who was formerly employed on ships as a wireless operator, and was seldom at homOj said, that in.' 1929 his wife left him, and that ha came to New Zealand in 1930 and married a widow. He honestly believed „ he was then a divorced man. " The widow gave evidence that ho had always been good to her and tho • children, and if he were divorced sho would immediately marry him. s , , The accused, who was described bj the police as. a very decent man, was - alfowed baij, which was fixed at £50.
