THEFT OF CELERY

The theft of celery valued at Cs from a chinaman's lorry early this morning was admitted at tho'Magistrate's Court later by Steven George Hamilton, aged 27, and James Copping, aged 25, who were discovered eating the celery in a shop doorway. Copping who had a list of previous convictions, was fined £2 by Mr. 13. Page, S.M., and ordered to pay costs, Bs. He was allowed one month in which to pay, default being fixed at fourteen days'imprisonment. Hamilton was convicted and discharged^
