Canon and Mrs. Pereival James, Bolton Street, aro visiting Napier, and will return to Wellington at the end of the week. Mrs. C. Shawe, England, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs. John Grigg, Christehurch, will leave Wellington this week by the lonie on her return to England. Mrs. A. T. Chapman and Mias Mollic Chapman, St. Albans, Christchureh, arrived ia Wellington yesterday, and are the guests of Mr. and Mrs/ Cheviot 8011, liovrvy Bay. Miss A. Duncan, Auckland, who has been visiting Miss Barraud,. Kelburn, returned home today. Mrs. W. H. Montgomery, Little River, will leave New Zealand shortly for a trip to Sydney and the East. She will bo joined at Hong Kong by her daughter, Miss Iris Montgomery. Mrs. Edwyn Wilding, who has been visiting the North Island, has returned to Southland. . Mr. and Mrs. I". Downer, Wellington, are visiting Christehurch. Dr. and Mrs. Malcolm Eobertson and family, Fendalton, 'Christchurch, will eomc to Wellington early this week to join the louie for England. They intend to return to New Zealand upwards the end of this year. Miss Dorothy Day, who has been stayIng with her mother, Mrs. William Day, Christchureh, returned to Wellington on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. J. Fergusson, Wellington, arc visiting, Timaru. Mrs. V. White, Christchurch,. is the guest of Mrs. Sydney Jenkinson, Wellington. Mrs. W. Palmer Chapman and Mrs. Morley Pinfold,.Ashburtan, are spending a brief holiday with, friends in Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. Eric Eicltard, Christchurch, will arrive in, Wellington oi\ Thursday to join the lonic for England. Mrs. C. J. Playno, Wellington, will return today!after a visit to Mrs. W. Fletcher, Greymouth. . Miss M. E. Kineaid, Christchurch, is spending a few days in Wellington bo--I'oro joining the lonie for England. Mrs. Adam Hamilton, Wellington, is visiting Christchurch.
