FURTHER FALL IN PRICE OF SUGAR

A further fall in the price of sugar, operative as from today, is announced by the Colonial Sugar Refining Co. The prices of all grades of raw and refined sugars, golden syrup, and treacle are today down by 10s per ton. The prices of tablets and icing sugar remain unaltered. A decrease of 10s a ton in the wholesale price of sugar took effect as recently as May 19. There was a similar fall in. May last year.
