INTOXICATED IN CAR

A. fine of £20 was imposed on John McDonald, aged 25, who pleaded guilty before Mr. E Page, S.M., today, to being jintoxicated while in charge of a motor-car in Tory Street early on Sunday morning. ' The accused admitted to Constable Hudson that he had hail two whiskies and. a beer and that this had made him ill. Mr. A. J. Mazengavb, who appeared for the accused, . said that in order to keep him off the list of unemployed the accused's father had put him, into a small coal business and if . the accused's driver's licence was cancelled it would mean that the father's expenses, totalling abont £1000, would be lost.
