CHINESE EASTERN LINE
SOVIET AND JAPAN
LONDON, May 26. The Eiga correspondent of- "The Times" says that the Soviet claims to have received authentic information that Japan has decided, within i.,£ow days, to isolate Vladivostok from Manchuria by blocking the Chinese Eastern Bailway and removing tho rails. The Soviet claims that Japan falsely alleges, aa a pretext for violation of treaty rights, that Bussia seized railway rolling stock, and therefore Japan, is compelled to prevent further departure of locomotives and wagons. The real object, says tho Soviet, is to force down the market value of the railway, which Japan hopes to acquire cheaply.
