SUNDAY BAND RECITAL.

Great success has been achieved by the band of tho First Battalion, the Wellington Regiment, with tho Sunday evening recitals up to the present. For tomorrow evening'at the De Luxe Thcatro sonic special attractions are announced. By courtesy of Kembail Theatres, Ltd., the management has arranged for the appearauco of Mr. Paul T. Cullen, the vocallst.orgauist, who has made a name for himself with performances at the Wurlltrar organ. Tomorrow night he will feature some of his particular successes, and also cooperate with the band iv "A Sailor's Momorics," a medley of popular nautical airs. Another attraction of considerable Interest will bo in the appearauco of IMbs Julie Russell, a visitor from Australia. She comes with a high reputation as the possessor of a voice of power and purity. The songs, "I Wonder If Love Is a Dream" nnrt "Love's v Merchant," give full scope for her cultured voice. Little May Hyam can always bo depended upon for her catchy songs and violin playing. Her items for tomorrow evening include "After Tonight We Say Ciood-h.ve," "You're More Than All the World to Me," and "Play, Fiddle, I'lay." Another performer who never fails to make a good impression is Mr. Edwin Dennis, tenor. He has done excellent service for musical societies In various cities. Those present at the De Luxe should enjoy "All tho World Will be Jealous of Me" and "Warwickshire Wooing" as rendered by him. A surprising novelty by the Scotch and Lancashire lads will lend further variety to the programme. Tho band will play bright aud well-varied pieces, including: Hymn, "Diadem"; selections, "Golden Valley" and "A Sailor's Memories" (the latter in conjunction with the Wurlltzcr) ; and the marches, "Kuellar Hall," "Canterbury Englueers," and '•Wellington Regiment." Miss Dorothy Spinks will assist as accompanist. For the benefit of early arrivals at the theatre a selection of records will be given, by courtesy of Kcmball Theatres, Ltd., per medium of the. Do.
