COMMUNITY SINGING.
The committee responsible for community singing in Wellington during the , past two years lias Dualised arrangements to conduct midday sings during tho coming winter in the Town Hall, commencing on Wednesday next. A distinct attraction at the opening sin? will be the appearance as guest artist of Mr. George Wallace, the distinguished comedian, who has consented to appear, by the courtesy of Messrs. .1. C. Williamson, Ltd., and Mr, Frank Noil. The song lenders will be Mr. 0. Pritchard and Mr. W. Mason. Mr. Frank Crowther will be at the piano. : Community singing has proved immensely popular in Wellington, and has been liic menus or raising a considerable sum towards the MnyoiV lioliuf Fund. It is hoped, therefore, that, a largo audience will greet I lie sons lenders at the opening sins.
