SALES TAX
METHODS OF PAYMENT
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. l Following representations made by the Chamber of Commerce ,the Minister of Customs has decided that payments of the sales tax may be made by cheque without a bank guarantee being required. In addition arrangements will bo made later enabling payments to be made,;if desired, by lodging the amount of 'the tax to the credit of the public account and tendering1 the receipt to tlio Collector of Taxes.
