FROZEN MEAT MARKET.
Cathie, Dempster, and Co. have received from Sheed, Thomson, and Co., Ltd., London, the following cablegram relating to frozen meat:—"Lambs, 2's 534 dto 6%d, B's sVid, 4's 4 7-Bd, seconds 5d to Gd; wethers, l's, 7's, 3 3-8 d to 4d; 3's, 9's, s's, 2%d to 3d; ewes, l's, 7's, 2 7-8 dto 3%d; 3's, 9's s's, 2d to 2%d; ox beef, hinds 2%d to 2 5-Bd, fores 2 l-8d; cow, hinds 2%d, fores l%d to 2d; porkers, 4d to 4%d; baconers, 4 7-8 dto sd. "Tallow:. Fine mutton, 24s 6d; sweet beef, 21s 6d; good mixed, 20s. "Lambs market firm; looks like holding. Ewes and wethers market steady, but demand slow. Beef market dull; very little business being done. Porkers market quiet. Baconers market steady. Tallow market steady."
