Members of the crew of the interstate steamer Aeon, who have been working for six months or more, gave the owners twenty-four hours' notice that they intend to allow unemployed members of the Seamen's Uniou to take! their places for a month. The rationing scheme, confirmed t>y a special meeting of the Seamen's Union, 3s thus put into effect.
