Mr. T. 8.-McNeil, S.M.; dealt with cases in the Magistrate's Court at Petone yesterday. . ■ . For exceeding 23 miles an hour in the Borough, Stanley Hubert Powell was fined 10s. 'Nathan George Stothers was fined £3 for affixing unauthorised number plates to a ear, and on charges of using an unlicensed ear, driving a car at night without a tail-light, and having no driver's licence he was convicted and ordered to pay costs. A fino of 10s was imposed upon Fred!-, crick Charles Jarman for cycling at night without a light.
