FREE LABOURERS AT FAULT
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHEISTCHUECH, This Day. An incident at the Phoeuix Hotel on March-26, when a glass was thrown, 'at a former freezing works employee by a free labourer, had a sequel this morning when Alfred Italvi Edgertoii, aged 28, was fined &3, for .assaulting Stanley Alexander Coleman. "This young'man,is fortunate that lie is not charged with a more serious offence," stated.^ Sub-Inspector Edwards. ■ ••■ : ;-' The Magistrate,' Mr. E. D. Mosiey, said: "I am satisfied that the whole trouble arose through the aetioil of the free labourers. Usually it is the other side, but in this,case the free labourers were the aggressors from start to finish." . . • . .
