ANGLO-AMERICAN APPROVAL

A notification of tho United States f Government's I endorsement of the British formula for the tariff truce has now been received. The formula will be submitted for the approval of the Organising Committee of the World Economic Conference, which meets in London as soon as possible. Sir John Simon is chairman, and the meeting will be attended by the Am* bassadors of the eight Powers represented on it. v' The formula is the outcome of a conversation in London between the British Ministers and' Mr. Norman Davis, tho United States special envoy.
