MANUFACTURERS' COMMENT
(By Telegraph,) (Special to "The Evening Poit") ' DUNEDIN, This Day. Interviewed regarding the Tariff Commission, the members of the Danodin Manufacturers' Association stated that they had been hoped for a Departmental Commission, constituted similarly to that which dealt with the tariff rovision in 1925* That Commission had given a balanced and impartial finding, quite apart from sectional interests. It had analysed the position dispassionately, and its decisions had given satisfaction. Apart from Dr. Craig and Professor Murphy, tho qualifications of the members of the present Commission to deal with such an intricate subject wore hardly known to members of the Duaedin. if(Miufacturer#' ftssotiftttpju ,i.
