COMPENSATION CLAIM
As reported yesterday, wiieu the jury in the Supreme Court yesterday mornjnjp returned a verdict of £1050 compensation for Mrs. A. B. Itbotson, in respect of the death of her husband following an accident, against Lance Godfrey Edwin Barnes and Tom Gorddtt Gtinlt, Mr. Justice Ostler said he would ne£ enter judgment until it had been decided whether it was thought desirable that a nonsuit point raised by Counsel for the defendants should be argued further. Tn the afternoon Coutiscfl attended the Conrt again, and hi v Honour then ' entered judgment for £,1050 against Barnes, with costs, and rtiserved the question of judgment against Gault, the second defendant.
