Ilerr Rosenberg, Hitler's envoy, conferred with Sir John Simon, Lord Hailsham, and Mr. Norman Davis, United States delegate. Herr Kosenberg wanted to ascertain Britain's reactions to Hitlerism. The conference with Mr. Davis lasted two hours. It is understood^ that the latter emphasised that America under no circumstances would consent to Germany's, rearmament, and regarded Germany's Geneva policy as an obstacle in tha path of the Disarmament Conference, consequently casting a shadow oa the, ■ World Conference. Furthermore, America considered Germany as tending to become a disturber of European peace. i The "Sun" Agency understands that the British Ministers did not minca words, and stressed the fiation-wida condemnation of recent events in Germany, regardless of political partiesi and emphasised Britain's perturbation a: Hitlerism's effect on disarmament.
