TOMORROW'S MEETING
Already many delegates have arrived in Wellington for the annual meeting tomorrow of the New .Zealand Rugby Football Union. Matters of vital .importance to the game 80 far as this Dominion is concerned are to be discussed. As to how far ■, the conference acts in regard to proposals to revert to the amended kick-into-touch rule and to arrange a conference between the overseas Dominions' Rugby Unions, depends upon the nature of information which it is expected will be available as a result of representations made by the management committee to the fiugby Football Union (England). News as to the result of New Zealand's application to. replace injured players is being awaited with keen interest.- An indication that something has conic to hand, and that it is of a satisfactory nature, was given in a remark by the chairman of the management committee at a function this week to the effect that he believed before long New Zealand would receive what she had been striving for over a long period. .. It is also significant that the Hawke's Bay Rugby Union decided to move at the annual meeting that replacements of injured be allowed, and that the order paper for tomorrow's meeting contains no notice of motion to this effect. The only moti6n in Hawke's Bay's name is one relating to the readoption of the amended kick-into-touch rule. Among other important business will be the election of officers, aud this, as usual, will create keen, interest among delegates,
