QUALITY OF EGGS
(To the Editor.) Sir,—Would you grant me a small space m your paper to express my opinion on the price nnd condition of the eggs sold by1 some shops in Wellington. Everyone knows'that eggs are dear at this time of the year, but what I object to is that stale-eggs and pickled eggs are sometimes mixed with fresh eggs and sold at 2s 8d a dozen. It is time the public made a protest.—l am, etc., • . FRESH EGGS.
