METHODIST CHURCH
At a meeting of the Wellington Methodist Ministers' , Association on Monday, the Rev. T. R. Richards presiding, a welcome was given to ministers recently appointed, namely,, the Rev. J. F. Martin (J.ohnsonville), Rev. C. Horwood (Petone), Rev. W. H. Greenslade (Northland), and the Rev. A. H. Scriven, Dominion secretary for foreign missions. It was reported that the office of hospital chaplain, held for several years by the Rev; A. Harding, had been discontinued, and it was agreed that regular visits to the Public Hospital and kindred institutions bo made by neighbouring ministers. The Rev. T. R. Richards was appointed to represent the Methodist Church at the conferring of divinity ' degrees by the University.
