SECONDARY SCHOOLS
ASSOCIATIONS MEET
Secondary school principals and assistants started their annual conferences yesterday, the meetings taking place in Wellington College. The Principals' Association and the Assistants' Association met separately during the morning and most of the aftprnoon. and for the remainder of the day both associations met together. The combined meeting is being continue.-; today under the chairmanship of Mr. i?. Miluer (Waitaki). The election of officers for the Principals' Association resulted as follows:— President, Mr. H. B. Tomlinson; secretary and treasurer, Mr. H. P. Kidson; executive, Mr. H. 15. Tomlinson, Mr. 11. P. Kidson, Miss Bathain, Mr. W. A. Armour, Mr. W. A. G. Penlinxton; representatives on the Secondary Schools' Association, Miss liatham, Mr. W. A. Armour, Mr. H. P. Kidson; representatives on the Federation of Teachers, Miss Batham, Mr. H. B. Tomlinson, Mr. W. A. Armour, Mr. Martyn Renner, Mr. H. P. Kidson, Mr. W, A. G. Penliiigton. The Assistants' Association officers for
